EFFCT OF USING OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY FOR CHILDREN WITH MENTAL DISABILITY
Abstract
working hypothesis-
By means of school education, could have a positive impact on the integration of children with mental retardation to the natural school environment.
PURPOSE OF THE STUDY -
To establish the level of awareness and involvement of parents and resource teachers on teaching physical education of children with mental retardation in the process of their integration into mainstream education.
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY-
.Prouchvane literature for consideration*
*Study the needs of adapted physical activity and social integration of children with intellectual disabilities.
*Revealing the extent of the involvement of parents in the overall formation and development of their children, as well as processes training, education and physical education in integrating into mainstream education.
*Clarify the level of interactions between resource teachers and parents in their work with children in the process of inclusion in mainstream school.
SITE SURVEY -
The object of the study were 30 parents of children with mental retardation, 30 resource teachers and 15 children. The study was conducted at an educational establishment with boarding form of education in the city. Tripoli – Libya.
METHODS OF STUDY -
Theoretical study and analysis of the literature.
Monitoring and survey
Quantitative and qualitative analysis of survey data
The poll METHOD -
Developed standardized questionnaires for the two groups of respondents: parents of students integrated into mainstream school and resource teachers of such children.
The survey, conducted with resource teachers contains a total of 10 questions, and parents contains 8 questions.

CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
1- Data from references show that in many countries with high socio-economic development against these individuals was developed and established very good legislation and general public attitudes are very positive.
2- The results of the survey of resource teachers and parents of integrated children with SEN proved better relevance and effectiveness of the tools. Clearly and accurately marked questions are not allowed an ambiguity in the selection of the response.
3- Neobhodimo is to move towards strengthening and systematization of practical actions to ensure better standard of living and quality of life for these individuals.
4- All data from our study show that a significant emphasis on micro child with mental retardation, is to raise awareness and improve the attitude of parents towards him. Depending on their educational and social status, they participated actively and systematically in the process of its full formation and development.
5- Last but not least, in the list is the opinion of the special educators, the level of cooperation and interaction between teachers (educators) and parents formed the main prerequisites in the development, training, education and upbringing of children with mental retardation, This is one of the main directions in developing positions of behavior in the future.
