Dr. Malak Houm one of the faculty members at the Faculty of Nursing, Basic Department. Graduated 2008 from Faculty of Medicine, University of Tripoli. She holds a master’s degree in Professional Practice in Health Sciences, University of Southampton, The UK 2020. She is member of quality improvement committee and graduate supervisor.
Careers
Dr.Malak used to work as a teacher's assistant at Faculty of Nursing from 2014-2019 before pursuing her postgraduate degree at University of Southampton in 2019-2020. And become a faculty member at Faculty of Nursing in2022. As assistant lecturer.
Research Interests
Dr.Malak interested in every aspect related to research, promoting evidence- based practice through research and training program to improve clinical practice and patient outcomes.
External Activities
Dr.Malak used to work as a resident doctor at Bosetti Hospital for Thoracic Diseases from 2010-2014 Tripoli, Libya. She is a member of Libyan Thoracic Society. And participate in many conferences in Libya and abroad. Now she is working as part-time in the same hospital.
